Midnight stories

It was midnight, and I was walking on the street. I was exhausted and tired but I was running fast so that I could reach my home as soon as possible. I was alone on an empty road. I was scared to death. My fear was not unusual. I had a gut feeling that something wrong might happen. My gut feeling was correct. One unknown foot started following. The big dark shadow was after me following everywhere. I was terrified. I was hopeless but still walking. My phone was dead but I was pretending to talk with someone so that that person could go away. 

Suddenly, that big dark shadow started to come near to me. I was very nervous so, blindly I started running. I wasn't looking back and continued running till I arrived near the hospital. The hospital was open for emergency services and it wasn't dark there. Many people were running here and there. I was less afraid at that time but my mobile phone was dead. I live alone in the city these days. I stayed with my brother and sister but they had gone to the village for work. So I was alone. I was returning back from my event. The event lasted long till 11. No vehicles were available at that time and my home was just 30 min away so I decided to walk alone to home. I was not expecting such a thing to happen. This incident made me frightened.

Other times I am a brave girl but this time I was terrified. I am afraid for the first time. I was scared to death. I borrowed a charger from the hospital's people and charged my phone. Suddenly something unexpected happened. My phone automatically switched off. The hospital disappeared and nobody was there.  Unfortunately, there was no light as well. I was shivering and wasn't able to think what was happening. Again, I started running without looking at anything. Suddenly, I was bumped into a guy. He had a big belly and bald hair, and the light was coming out from his eyes. I shouted "Help me". I was shivering, crying, and shouting at the same time. Someone shook my body and said, "Wake up, it's morning."

THE ICE IN THE DESERT

I saw cold ice in the middle of the desert. The ice was my last hope for survival. I was not sure whether this could help or not but a beacon of hope was enough for me to breathe in the middle of the hot desert. I was dying due to thirst. Ice, perfect square-shaped ice, shining bright like the moon in the middle of the sky, brightening so lightly that my eyes lost vision. The hot desert felt like cold slowly, maybe because of Ice. I went near the ice. The nearer I went to the ice, my heart started racing very fast. This was the last hope for survival so I can't give up that easily. I touched the ice and suddenly that solid ice started to convert into a hurricane, a huge cold hurricane. It was such big that 100 elephants could go around it. Thanks to my magical shoes who stuck with the ground making me still. Slowly, The big hurricane converted into the square-sized, dazzling, 5-foot iceman. It has two hands and two legs, I was amazed by this unique transformation and was scared too...

  सुविधा वन्चित समुहमा साक्षरता एवं जीवनपर्यन्त सिकाइको पहुँच विस्तार समयकाे लामो झरी देखि नै हाम्राे प्रजातिले जीवनकाे यात्रा गर्दै आएको छ। मानव सभ्यताको विकासले संसार परिवर्तनलाई जन्म दिएको हो । हजाराैं काल पहिला देखि नै मानिसले आफ्ना जीवनशैलीलाई सरल र सहज बनाउने पर्यन्तमा अद्भुत रचनाहरू गर्दै आएको छ। यही बिच जब जीवन सरल हुदै गयाे र समाज विकासकाे पथमा बढ्दै गयो तब विकासित समाजले नै सुविधा सम्पन्न समाजलाई जन्म दियाे ।  सुविधाको  जन्मकाे माध्यम केवल शिक्षा थियाे । शिक्षाले  मान्छेमा भएको बुद्धिकाे सहायताले नयाँ रचनाकाे माध्यम जन्मायाे  जसले जीवनलाई सरल बनायाे र यसैले सुविधालाई अर्थ पनि दियाे । अहिलेको आधुनिक युगमा यसको अर्थ विपरीत भएको देखिन्छ ।  किनकि अहिले जहाँ सुविधा हुन्छ त्यहाँ मात्र शिक्षाको पहुँच भएको देख्न सक्छाैं ।  तर वास्तविकता अलि फरक छ जहाँ सुविधा छैन त्यहाँ पनि हामी शिक्षाको पहुँच पुर्याउन सक्छाैँ । यसका लागि  समाज र देश लगायत सबैले यसमा कार्य गर्नुपर्छ ।  नेपाल एउटा सुन्दर मुलुक भएपनि सम्पन्न राष्ट्र बन्न सकेको छैन । यहाँ सम्पद...
